Under the hood, Kraken Vinyl Elixir is a real-time DSP engine that pulls 24-bit/96kHz audio off your USB interface and runs it through the processing chain in milliseconds: a custom detection stage that models what the music should look like and flags anything that doesn’t belong, a repair engine that mathematically reconstructs the audio underneath each click instead of just muting it, and spectral denoising that pulls down the surface noise without touching the shimmer up top — all self-calibrated to your system, monitored in real time, and controlled from a browser on whatever device is in your hand. Live engine telemetry from the headless terminal view. The full de-click / de-crackle / de-noise chain runs true 24-bit / 48 kHz end to end at only ~12% CPU and ~18% DSP load with ZERO buffer under-runs (XRUN 0) – hard proof the whole restoration pipeline holds real-time on modest hardware.

Built-in USB audio clock-drift monitor. The engine measures sample-clock slip against the nominal rate (here ~187 ppm) and resampling-corrects it on the fly, so inexpensive USB turntables and DACs stay perfectly locked with no dropouts – a robustness feature most consumer restoration tools simply don’t have.
